Great guys, fast turn around and rates beat Les Schwab! They also give you a free pen, ok doesn't sound like much, but this pen is really nice. It's a stylus as well and although it's ball point, writes on even waxy card stock!

I hate to leave a bad review but this one is necessary. I have no idea how Kalberer has 4.8 stars and good reviews. I needed an alignment for a straight 2007 Prius after getting new tires recently. Took it to Kalberer late on a Saturday. Inside the shop, I didn't notice any fancy computerized Hunter alignment rack that most other shops use. Tech says the owner does it the traditional way with manual tools. That's great, using timeless tried and true methods. Figure they know their trade. He asked me about the car and the recent work that was done. He did some front camber measurements using a bubble level tool and jotted down some numbers. At no time did I notice him look up any reference book or computer to retrieve factory spec measurements for my car. I mentioned to him the steering wheel was skewed to the right while the car drove straight. No problem he said he will fix that. He made some toe adjustments to the tie rods with the aid of what appeared to be a laser ruler and hand wrenches. Watched him do some measurements only with the laser tool and made various changes to the tie rods. He did this a couple of tries each time taking the car down the street and back onto the rac

Brought in my 2012 Toyota Sienna because of toe wear knowing my lower control arms were shot and my CV joints were making noise when making sharp turns. Tony got me in less than an hour and Jeremy started the inspection. Jeremy quickly assessed that an alignment would make no difference until I got the other parts repaired. They got me in the next day and I stated that I needed my minivan back the same day. Even though they closed at 5pm, they ran into problems removing the right CV axle and at 10:17pm Tony called letting me know my Sienna was ready to go. I’ve never had a shop work 5 hours after close to make sure I got my vehicle back. Tony has over 50 years and Jeremy 35 years of experience. These guys are the mechanics of yesterday that you could ever hope to have work on your vehicle. Honest diagnosis, no predatory sales, and guys who repair knowing you’re placing you and your family’s safety in their hands. 110% recommended. They’re an old school shop, so they don’t use the latest computerized systems. But they understand suspension and know what they can and can’t do which is miles more than mechanics who only know how to read a computer screen or just want to make

Trustworthy doesn’t even begin to describe Tony. I’ve been bringing all of our vehicles to his shop for 22 years, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Very reasonably priced. He used to be located in SE Portland, and I still drive from Southeast Portland to see him because his shop can dial in an alignment better than the computerized machines at the dealership. That says everything. Don’t be surprised if he starts asking detailed questions when you call to book an appointment, that’s just who he is. More than once he’s diagnosed an issue over the phone just by asking the right routine questions. For example, I thought I needed an alignment, but after talking it through, he helped me realize it was actually a tire issue. He saved me time, money, and an unnecessary service. That level of honesty is rare. As a woman, I’ve unfortunately experienced being talked down to or overcharged at other shops. That has never happened here. Tony is straightforward, respectful, and genuinely wants to do what’s right. If something doesn’t need to be done, he won’t do it, and he won’t charge you. Took my lifted 3rd gen 4runner to another shop and ended up getting scammed with no work done and alignment as bad as it had been before. After getting new tires I had these gentleman take care of it for me. Amazing work, fixed the alignment even on my slightly rusty rig with no complaints. Would definitely recommend for their service.
